Innisfree The Green Tea Seed Serum

I have a soft spot for Innisfree cosmetics and I love the green tea scent... So I got myself Innisfree The Green Tea Seed Serum ;) Having already had a toner and an essence of the Green Tea collection I thought that maybe it's time for the serum and let’s see how it’ll all work together. More than a month later I can confidently say that it wasn’t a bad move.

The packaging is simple but aesthetic and functional. It comes in a 80ml bottle with a pump (a lot as for a serum!) so it is very easy to measure out the right amount of product. Texture is close to a watery gel and very easy to apply and quickly absorbed. Moisturizing feel kicks in immediately but take my advice and don’t exaggerate with the amount of the product you splash onto your face as it’ll get a little sticky - a garden pea size droplet is enough for me and so far I have used up maybe a ⅙ of the entire package.

Innisfree The Green Tea Seed Serum contains an extract from green tea leaves and seeds. The manufacturer promises nutrition and long-lasting hydration of the skin, thanks to the content of amino acids and minerals naturally found in green tea from the Jeju island. The skin will be moisturized, smooth and supple. Well, everything turns out to be true! Serum is quite rich, despite a light texture, so it’s going to last for a long time. Smells great ... (like Estée Lauder Green Tea perfume). Doesn’t clog the pores, despite the fact that for a combination skin (like mine) there is another line of the same company (Innisfree Green Tea Balancing).

As for me, the composition is OK, unless someone is against alcohol in cosmetics... Personally, I have nothing against it (definitely improves the absorption of cosmetics) if (of course) a product contains a sufficient amount of moisturizing ingredients to level drying effect of alcohol. Moreover, the alcohol is a common ingredient in Asian cosmetics (eg., Japanese sunscreens) but I’ll write more about it on the occasion of another product review ;) CosDNA doesn’t flag anything red in there.

Innisfree The Green Tea Seed Serum bought here, around £11 / 16$ for 80ml. Not too expensive when you consider that one bottle lasts for about 5-6 months.
Personally, I’m very satisfied with the product. Recommended :)

PROS: volume (80ml), good hydration and nutrition, doesn’t clog pores, price vs. volume
CONS: nothing comes to my mind

Mam słabość do kosmetyków Innisfree i kocham zapach zielonej herbaty…

Innisfree The Green Tea Seed Serum zawiera wyciąg z liści i ziaren zielonej herbaty. Producent obiecuje odżywienie i długotrwałe nawilżenie skóry, dzięki zawartości aminokwasów i minerałów naturalnie wystepujących w zielonej herbacie z wyspy Jeju.

Innisfree The Green Tea Seed Serum zakupiłam tutaj, cena ok. 65zł za 80ml.
